Kerri puts a huge emphasis on her expertise anknowledge of the market which has led her to expand on her real estate education. She obtained her broker’s license in 2007 which is the highest level of real estate licensure the state provides. Kerri has also gone several steps further by earning the following designations: Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI). These designations required education classes that exceeded the state’s requirements and some even required high levels of production in order to be awarded. In short, all of this means you’re getting a professional real estate agent who has the experience and professionalism to guide you through any real estate transaction. 

Kerri has a passion for San Antonio and has deep family roots here dating back to the Republic of Texas even though she grew up in Los Angeles, California. Her family has lived in San Antonio’s Alamo Heights area for years watching it evolve from a suburb into an inner-city neighborhood. This background gives her insight into native Texan characteristics while her experiences living outside of Texas help her relate to buyers moving into the area. 

Kerri enjoys volunteering in the community and is involved with the PTO at Howard Early Childhood Center & Cambridge Elementary, the Junior League, the Witte Museum and Delta Delta Delta alumni group. Kerri’s pride and joy, however, is her family. Her husband is an attorney at Zachry Industrial. Both are graduates of Texas A&M University in College Station and proud Fightin’ Texas Aggies. They are also involved with their church, Alamo Heights United Methodist. Together they are raising three beautifully strong willed children: a son who is 7 years olda daughter who is 6 years old and a second daughter who is 4 years old. They live in their Olmos Park home with their 2 dogs and 65 lb. tortoise. When she is not placing a SOLD sign in a yard, you can find Kerri enjoying her family, studying her genealogy or enjoying a good book.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to people looking for their dream home?:
Take the time to search and trust your gut. I believe everything happens for a reason, so if you’re running into a lot of obstacles then you may be hitting a legitimate road block that is there for a reason. Also, your gut will tell you things about a house or a transaction, and I think your gut feeling is oftentimes right.
Any advice to those who are selling?:
Hire a professional, like myself, who will tell you the truth. You should not hire someone who wants to inflate the price of your home, because statistics show you typically net less when you do that. Your agent should show you real sales data and use that information to price your home accurately. This results in less time on the market, fewer headaches with strangers coming into your home, and an overall easier experience.

I can read people really well, and I set realistic expectations. Paying attention to the details of what people are saying helps me determine what motivates them, which in turn is useful during negotiations.By breaking down my clients' options, educating them with facts, and then giving them the different scenarios that could occur, they are always well informed and prepared.
